Manifesto for Sustainability
We, as concerned citizens of the world, recognize the urgency of the environmental crisis facing the planet and our community. We believe that sustainable development must be the foundation of a just and equitable society which respects the natural limits of the Earth and promotes the well-being of all living beings. We come together today with the intention of becoming HEROES who stand up for sustainability and help the Earth restore Order. We call for action to address the climate change crisis which threatens to destabilize ecosystems, displace human populations and exacerbate inequality. We recognize the need for urgent and radical changes in energy production as well as the importance of global cooperation and support for vulnerable countries and communities. We advocate for sustainable cities and communities which prioritize the well-being of residents and the environment.
